Hi. I know the preference here is for wood bindings. Not trying to hash that out. But can I use ZPoxy over plastic bindings when grain filling, or do I need to mask or otherwise use care? |

Filippo, no. They had to order it. But they should have it in a couple of days. Thanks for hooking me up. I've never used it before, but I have been wanting to try it. I like the idea that it can be used on whatever wood you have, and you don't need to fool with matching tints like you do with paste fillers. |

Todd Stock wrote: The better way to do this is with a thick rubber-bladed Etore window squeegee cut down to 6" width. More consistent, higher pressure (more even film...dryer surface), and lasts much longer before the edges get fuzzed and leave marks. I'll second this. I was using a squeegee with good results before Todd posted his tutorial. And now that he's posted, I'm using a squeegee with even better results. |
